“In 3 months with Metheus, I progressed more than in 2 years of Duolingo. The immersion approach with real content is a game-changer.”

I was tired of apps that felt like homework. I wanted to learn languages from movies, music, and the internet — not from generic sentences in a vacuum.
Every tool I tried was fragmented. One app for flashcards. Another for dictionaries. Another for subtitles. None of them talked to each other. None of them felt built for people who actually want to consume real content.
So I built Metheus. While studying Computer Science at Universidad de Buenos Aires, I spent nights and weekends coding the platform I wished existed. No team. No investors. Just obsession and a laptop.
Essential learning tools will always be free. I built this for learners like me, prioritizing the product over quick profits.
From Buenos Aires, for the world.
